This project delves into the profound emotional landscape of migration through the lens of Sergio Alonso, a Venezuelan migrant who has rebuilt his life abroad. The "Psychological Portrait" series aims to capture the essence of personal transformation and resilience in the face of life's adversities.
The portrait session with Sergio was designed to bring out the emotions tied to his journey as a migrant. It captures his courage and optimism, juxtaposed with a palpable sense of nostalgia for his son, portraying a story of strength and vulnerability.
Although technically imperfect, this image powerfully represents who Sergio is, constantly in motion. The blur conveys a profound truth: life is perpetual motion, and so has been Sergio’s life. This moment of motion encapsulates his enduring spirit and the dynamic nature of human existence.
